Max A. O’Grady, Esq.

Max A. O’Grady focuses his practice on immigration law, consumer bankruptcy law, family law, and other areas. Max has lived in Maryland his whole life and is proud to be a member of the Maryland bar. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2018, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law in 2024. In law school, Max was a member of the Maryland Law Review where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for Volume 83 in 2023–2024.

Max began his legal career in October 2020 as a legal staff assistant at a small firm in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he thoroughly enjoyed learning the basics of legal work before starting law school. In May 2023, Max joined Witherup Allen Law as a summer student associate before going into his final year of law school. He continued working part-time at Witherup Allen Law during his final year of law school and then full-time after graduating.

In his immigration practice, Max represents individuals before the Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services who are seeking various forms of relief, such as asylum, nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, travel authorization and advance parole, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Max is fluent in English and Spanish.
